Recognizing that the effectiveness of Audubon is founded in the strength of its chapters, the Council shall provide a forum for the voluntary association of Chapters of the National Audubon Society that are located wholly or partly in New York and Connecticut in order to advance the Audubon mission to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth’s biological diversity and to provide advice and guidance to strengthen Audubon NY, Audubon CT and National Audubon Society in support of this mission.
